Our Story

It's 2021 and Sydney has been in lockdown for months. No one knows when we will be able to rip off our masks, don our clubbing attire and taste freedom once more... Speaking of taste in contrast to pre-lockdown eats, how diverse have your at-home menus been? Although many have probably used lockdown as a way to indulge in takeout, it goes without saying that homemade ends up being the most rewarding. 

Unfortunately a problem that has been exacerbated in lockdown is household food waste. Fears of disruption regarding food supply have caused an increase in the quantity bought by households. Unfortunately, an increase in food consumption will inevitably result in a rise in already detrimental food waste levels. Our website is targeted at those who love cooking but are worried about the negative impact their food waste is having on the environment. 

​The five of us have created a diverse five-course menu, complete with pictures, detailed steps, descriptions, thoroughly researched background info presented effectively via our interactive website.
